fidel castro

Fidel Castro sought to explain the strange revelation that he was not responsible for the Communist Party over the past five years – a role which was believed to be widely still.
And 84 years), former Cuban leader says in a new opinion piece that did not occur to him to resign, because he had already turned the reins of power temporarily to his brother in 2006 after he fell gravely ill.
Castro says in an opinion Wednesday that he soon began to recover, “it never crossed my mind that I need to resign formally and explicitly.”
Castro’s announcement surprised many late. And has sought ever any official to clarify that the Cuban revolutionary icon no longer held the lead the Communist Party, and the location of party lists is still his first secretary.
